ACF BARNES W. ROSE, JR. AND EVA ROSE NICHOL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Barnes W. Rose, Jr. Eva Rosa The Nicole scholarship Foundation was founded in 2003 to remember Rose and honor Eva. Barnes graduated from the University of Albuquerque in 1951 and West Point in 1957. Eva lived in New Mexico for a long time.
The foundation will be awarding a scholarship to applicants to help them a complete degree in science, engineering,  and mathematics (STEM). Priority would be given to chemistry students.
 Requirements for admission:
– Must have at least 3.6 GPA
– Demonstrate financial need
– must be in college and pursuing a degree in one of the STEM specialties.
A personal essay should discuss the professional goals of STEM.

ACF WOODCOCK FAMILY EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

This opportunity was duly established by Albuquerque businessman C.E. Woodcock and his wife, Dixie, to support Candidates of exceptional promise in the fields of science and math.
Award fund will be awarded to Albuquerque metro area high school graduating seniors (includes Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia and Torrance Counties),  Scholarships are consistently payable for over four years.
Additional Criteria:
  • must exhibit a genius in math and/or science credentials
  • wants to attend full time at a college/university
  • have minimum 3.8 GPA
  • Minimum ACT composite score of 30(thirty),  or minimum SAT Math score of 680
  • write carrier goals in a personal statement
  • References, or recommendation, at least one from a math/science teacher

ACS SCHOLARS PROGRAM

AMOUNT: $5,000
ACS offers concessional scholarships for a small number of ethnic minority students seeking to enter the tertiary institution, in a bid to obtain a degree in chemistry.
Eligible students will be rewarded. The applicant may be an American scientist in Africa, Spain or the United States tertiary School, or in high school or a chemical or chemical engineering college.
ACS scholarship applicants must:
– be a US citizen or have a permanent residence in the United States.

AFCEA WASHINGTON, DC CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 5/1/2019
AMOUNT: $12,000
To apply to AFCEA Washington DC Scholarship, you must be a permanent resident of the Sofia City Council.
Computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry, Internet security, and information management systems meet the requirements.

AFDO SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

In 1981, AFDO established a scholarship fund dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Law on the Protection of Food and Drugs.
George M. Bourditet scholarships, Betsy Woodward scholarships, and Dennis S. Rooney scholarships are awarded annually to eligible college students who are in their 300L.
The beneficiary must demonstrate his intention to participate in research, control, quality control or training in areas related to certain aspects of food, medicine or consumer safety.

ALASKA SPACE GRANT PROGRAM UNDERGRADUATE FELLOWSHIP

Scholarships of up to $ 5,000 are offered as part of the selection process. The scholarships support research projects that promote NASA’s vision by advancing STEM career goals, empowering STEM personnel, including the United States, at the NASA mission for new and sustainable students.

The United States Banatao Philippines Charitable Foundation provides five scholarships of $ 5,000 for qualified beginners enrolled in a four-year college or university.
Each scholarship will be extended to a satisfactory level of academic achievement in a four-year regular program for regular students.
Candidates must be full-time students in an approved four-year college of engineering, physics, chemistry, computer science, or the work environment (with the exception of medical professionals such as doctors, nurses, and pharmacists) in

Clarkston students are intelligent and interested in the life sciences industry and want to enter life science after graduation. The Clarkston Scholarship, a four-year college of science at Pennsylvania State, is a middle school with scholarships awarded to juniors and seniors.
In addition, Clarkston textbooks will be presented in biology by participating in a two-year scholarship of Clarkston Consulting at the Pennsylvania Biennale.
Admission Criteria:
– A student of a recognized college or higher education program for four years.
– Become a student at a university in Pennsylvania.

ELMS COLLEGE STEM SCHOLARSHIPS

Elms College ElmSTEM program, supported by a grant award opportunity from the National Science Foundation, awards scholarship, and grant funds to students who major in STEM fields and attend Elms College full time.
In order to apply, you must be an intending full-time, first-year student at Elms College; be potential major in biology, computer information technology, chemistry, or mathematics, except for clinically-related fields eg. pre-medical or teaching professions (K-12 Education). EPOC ENVIRONMENTAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

EPOC identifies its duty to assist in the education of individuals planning a career in the environmental industry. Consequently, the EPOC Environmental scholarship award fund was established in 1998.
The purpose and aim of the Scholarship Fund are to assist Connecticut residents, or an immediately related member (spouse or child) of an EPOC Member in good standing, who are attending an accredited college or university and have declared majors pertinent to the environmental field.
Students applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor,  program. The scholarships are awarded annually to junior, senior, and graduate level students  enrolled in accepted programs of study  preparing the student to become a technical environmental professional in the State of Connecticut as defined by the CT DEP, or a professional in a related service,  discipline who may render technical assistance to the technical environmental world.

Basic target and aim of the EPP Scholars Program are to raise the number of students who undertake field/coursework and graduate with degrees in targeted academic fields integral to NOAA’s mission.
This award targets and helps students who have completed their sophomore year, attending Hispanic serving institutions, and have recently made known, or about to infer a major in atmospheric, oceanic.,  or environmental disciplines that complement these sciences.
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen currently enrolled or accepted as a full time, second-year student in a four year academic program or a third year student in a five year program in a field of study related to NOAA’s programs and mission in recognized serving institution (college or university within the United States or United States. territories).
Applicants must maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA.

ERNEST F. HOLLINGS UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

EXXONMOBIL BERNARD HARRIS MATH AND SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIPS

ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Fellows for Mathematics and Science was created to encourage ethnic minority students to pursue academic and career growth in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics.
This scholarship was created in 2010, by Dr. Bernard Harris, a former, physic astronaut, physician, and businessman, and ExxonMobil to raise the number of underrepresented students pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
At   springs, $5,000 scholarships are awarded to two African American and two Hispanic students currently on their senior year of high school in a member region of the Council of the Great City Schools

GROTE CHEMISTRY SCHOLARSHIP FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN

The Chemistry unit located at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga makes available the Grote Chemistry Scholarship for incoming freshmen and awards are renewable for a four year period.
Eligibility:
  • Roundup  a discipline in high school chemistry with an A or B
  • have an of 3.5 GPA or above
  • have a minimum ACT composite score of 26 or SAT equivalent
